ABA appoints new chairman

The Accrediting Bodies Association for Workplace Transport (ABA) has announced Gavin Hutchinson as its new chairperson, effective of 01st January 2024.

The chairperson of the ABA is appointed on a rotational basis, and members of the ABA are delighted to welcome Gavin, RTITB’ Senior Technical Services Manager to the new role, who has replaced Jason Dickson, Quality, Training and Development Director of NPORS who held the position for two years.

Here at the ABA we would like to say a massive thank you to Jason for all of his hard work and commitment to his role helping to improve industry standards and keep everyone working within them safe.

We would like to congratulate Gavin on his new position within the ABA and express our excitement to be working with him in the foreseeable future.

Much time and effort has been spent creating a new way of working together for the benefit of the workplace transport industry and at the forefront of our minds during this process has been the improvement of Testing Standards, coupled with much clearer transparency for those utilising the accrediting bodies system.
