Representing Industry

The Accrediting Bodies Association for Workplace Transport (ABA) was formed in 2012.

Much time and effort has been spent by members of the Accrediting Bodies Association for Workplace Transport (ABA) to create a new way of working together for the benefit of the workplace transport industry and at the forefront of our minds.

During this process has been the improvement of testing standards, coupled with much clearer transparency for those utilising the accrediting bodies system.

Our Purpose

  • Uniform workplace transport training categorisation
  • Standardised operator testing across all workplace transport categories
  • Maintaining a code of practice for all recognised accrediting bodies, and collaborating with other interested parties

The majority of all lift truck training in the UK is conducted through a training provider accredited by a member of the Accrediting Bodies Association for Workplace Transport (ABA).
